Come and take a walk around my house and see all the DIY works made during the twelve years spent in southern Ireland. Most of the projects involved recycled material and a very very small budget.

Shelf
I had some wood left over from the cabinet from the previews post and decided to make a very simple shelf/coat hanger to go in the same room as the cabinet. (please click on the image to see it bigger) it took two minutes to make and you can tell!! Very rough! But rustic has to be rustic! So there it is. Its been doing its purpose for good while and normally it is covered in coats and you can barely see it . Above there is a lovely Christmas wreaths that my sister made few years ago. I really like it and I keep it there all year around ! :P The shelf was stained like the cabinet with a dark pine stain. I first wanted paint them white washed, but being the walls white, I thought everything would look a bit to..white!
